Dear Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo,
Please sign Bill S-1672/ A-6759 into law and protect New York’s endangered and threatened grassland birds. This vital legislation will increase local support for conserving critical habitat in the Washington County Grasslands Important Bird Area (IBA) and help protect iconic grassland bird species like Short-eared owls and Snowy owls that call the IBA home.
Rarely will you have the opportunity to benefit so many for so little.
Thank you for your consideration,
