Here we go! The 2017 ACE Summer Starts Next Week!
We are excited to kick-off the second year of the Rubenstein-Bing Student-Athlete Civic Engagement Program (ACE) in just a few days. Over the course of the spring, our 40 ACE students-athletes attended the pACE (preparing for ACE) pre-departure meeting at their respective campus, met with their program groups, listened to advice from our ACE Ambassador alumni, completed travel health appointments, and for some applied, applied for their very first passport. We're returning to the same program locations this year, but we’ve expanded the diversity of teams represented this year including at Duke: W-Basketball and at Stanford: Field Hockey, Sailing, M-Basketball, W-Water Polo, Beach Volleyball, Ltw Rowing, and Squash. This summer we’ll be sharing with you highlights from each week of the program, including blog posts from the ACE student-athletes. We invite you to follow along via Facebook and Instagram.
