Arts Events & Exhibitions

During the September Gallery Hop, Big Fun Columbus will feature Roger Kent Grosswiler and Paul Bearer along with the Good Time Charleys. Stone Village Church Art Gallery presents, Spirit Animus (Breath of Life) by Michol Childress with an opening reception on September 5 from 5:00-7:00pm. Wexner Center for the Arts will be featuring After Picasso: 80 Contemporary Artists, Next @ Wex with Tyondai Braxton Clark, and The Apu Trilogy during the month of September. What the Rock?! will have an art show benefitting FemmeFest 2015.
Grab a Short North Arts District Throwback Tee

Helping to celebrate Gallery Hop's 30th Anniversary, local apparel company Homage has designed limited-edition tees featuring a throwback Short North Arts District logo that includes the iconic sideways Mona Lisa mural on N. Pearl Street. All proceeds from the shirt sales go towards arts programming in the District.

The charcoal grey tees come in sizes XS-XL and are $35. Tees are available for in-person pickup or by mail (shipping is $5). Click here to order online, stop by Victorian Gate at 663 N. High Street from 4:00-10:00pm to get yours in person at the Hop Hub, or grab one at the Goodale Park Music Series all summer long.

Elevator Brewing Co. Special of the Month

Elevator Brewing Co. is proud to be the official beer partner of Gallery Hop. Originally opening in 1999, the local brewery produces 10+ year-round beers and many seasonals.  Each month, Gallery Hop features Elevator specials at a variety of Short North Arts District bars and restaurants.

The featured special for this month is the $4 Big Vic Imperial Ale and Bleeding Buckeye Red Ale bottles served at Lemongrass at 641 N. High Street.
