Short North Alliance Announces New Partnership with Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
The Short North Alliance is pleased to announce that it has formed an exciting new partnership with Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens to provide comprehensive landscape services for the landscape planters it maintains in the Short North Arts District.
“Franklin Park Conservatory is a creative and respected member of the Columbus cultural community,” said Betsy Pandora, Executive Director of the Short North Alliance. “We’re incredible fortunate to be able to showcase the work of their skilled horticulturists on the streets of the Short North Arts District.”
“It has been a pleasure to work with the Short North Alliance to bring the Conservatory's horticultural creativity and expertise to the public spaces of this vibrant district,” says Bruce Harkey, Executive Director of Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
The creative new landscape displays can be seen in the following locations throughout the Short North Arts District:
- Landscaped Bed at Spruce and Wall Street next to the Japanese Steakhouse
- Poplar Park Planters
- Chase Park Planter
- Buttles Planters
- Standing pots all along High Street from Poplar to King Avenue
- Greenwood Park Bed and Planters
Displays will change seasonally and are all visible from High Street in the Short North Arts District.
