Here we are in 2021! As everyone at NICE continues to respond and adapt to government guidelines, our focus is on remaining as positive and creative as we can be. This point in January is renowned for quitting and a collective dip in motivation, so we've packed this month's NICE News with plenty of energy and ideas to keep us all going.
In this month's NICE News, we're right beside you with your New Year's Resolution, there's a personal insight into a conductor's journey since March 2020, and all you need to know about having a NICE Night In.
We are inviting you to continue with your New Year's Resolution, or create one if you haven't already.
Our NICE #DontQuit campaign is all about joining our families, who never quit. They face challenges every day. They don't give up.
Team NICE tell you all about the #DontQuit Challenge
What could your #DontQuit challenge be?
Steer clear from those sugary treats and savoury snacks that can ruin your dinner
Get outside every day if you feel safe to do so
Take on a Couch to 5k challenge by downloading the Couch to 5k app
Drink the recommended 2 litres of water every day
Get reading by setting yourself a target of a book/books to read by March
Clear your mind with just 5 minutes of mindful breathing each day
These pledges contribute to a positive sense of certainty and stability we're striving for, to help towards keeping our services running through the pandemic and long after.
Thank you so much to those who have made a birthday fundraising pledge to NICE so far, it means so much to us.
We are spreading the word about NICE through Zoom! Annie has been delivering presentations to Rotary Clubs online and would hugely appreciate any connections you have. Perhaps you know someone who has links with Rotaries, Soroptimists, Lions Clubs or Ladies' Circles?
Please let us know if you, or any contacts you have, would like to take up the offer of a free presentation then Annie would love to hear from you. You can get in touch by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
