Fraudulent Email is not From the Bishop

Dear Partners in Ministry,

Please note that there is a fraudulent email circulating. It claims to be from Bishop Curry and is sent from bishopyehielcurry@gmail.com (or close variants). That email is not from the bishop. That email address does not belong to the bishop.

One version of the fraudulent email contains the following text:

Hi NAME ! how are you doing?

I need a favor from you, email me as soon as you get this message, I'm in a conference meeting right now and only have access to mail that’s why i'm contacting you through here. I should have call you instead of mailing you but phones calls are not allowed to be use during the short hours i'll be using here.

Blessing’s & Peace.

Again, that email is not from the bishop. Please disregard it, block the email address, and report it as spam to your email provider.

Please remember to always be aware of who is requesting information from you, and always check the email address of those who send you messages, no matter who they claim to be from.
