Our formal fundraising campaign kicked off almost two weeks ago and is already producing promising early results. We've received several generous, seven-figure pledges from people who want to see wrestling continue at Stanford. In fact, you may be receiving calls from members of the Stanford wrestling community over the coming weeks. We hope you'll accept these calls with enthusiasm. A pledge of financial support toward endowing the program will give future generations the opportunities that benefited us for which we are eternally grateful.
The preferred method for submitting pledges is online through www.KeepStanfordWrestling.com. A direct link to the pledge page can be found here. Additionally, the KSW fundraising deck and pledge form can be downloaded here.
We held an all-hands Zoom call on August 19th that outlined our strategy, fielded questions, and provided instructions on how everyone can best contribute to the effort moving forward. Anyone interested in viewing the replay of that call because they were unable to attend, or only recently joined the effort, should email KeepStanfordWrestling@gmail.com to request access.

Stanford wrestling and the California Regional Training Center (California RTC) have traditionally coordinated on a one-week training camp for this time of year. Absent that opportunity, the team took it upon themselves to organize a retreat in Oregon (pictured above) for the latter part of August. It was the first time the group was able to come together since being dismissed from campus back in March. In addition to the returners, nearly all of the incoming freshmen were able to attend, affording both groups the opportunity to strengthen relationships for the road ahead.
The Stanford wrestling program is currently working with the California RTC and USA Wrestling on creative ways to provide training opportunities for this fall. The goal is to provide our wrestlers with access to the resources necessary to prepare for the international-style wrestling events scheduled for the fall, as well as the NCAA wrestling season slated to begin in January.
