AVR World Café

On June 1, 2015, the VSSN joined the Administrators of Volunteer Resources in Saskatoon for a World Café style gathering to discuss issues relevant to their organizations as well as the VSSN. The space was lively with energy as participants shared their ideas and passion for the voluntary sector, learned from one another, and had fun as they travelled from table to table!

Results from this World Café will be sent out through VSSN’s e-update as well as posted to our website within the next few weeks!

Welcomes and Farewells

On behalf of the steering group, we would like to wish Gloria DeSantis well in her new position in the Department of Justice Studies! Gloria has been the VSSN Facilitator/Developer since September 2014 and will continue to play a key role in the VSSN with research and facilitating the steering group. Thank you for your tremendous work with the VSSN… 10 months sure flies by when you’re having fun!

Our best wishes go out to two steering group members, Pastor Scott Adams and Selene Wray, who both have left Luther College to pursue other jobs and life adventures. It has been a real pleasure working with you both these past 10 months!

We welcome Dabotubo Alalibo and Bryan Smith on board as our newest student steering group members! We are looking forward to the energy, enthusiasm, and enriching perspectives that you’ll bring to the group!

Welcome to the Voluntary Sector Studies Network E-Update! This electronic bulletin is sent out to all those who have requested to be kept informed about VSSN news, events and activities, along with other information deemed important to those working and volunteering in the voluntary sector.
