Hello VSSN friends!                                                        May 2016
VSSN is excited about "Meeting of the Minds", our upcoming event on June 9, co-hosted by the Saskatchewan Nonprofit Partnership! Please continue reading for more updates.
Welcome Ruth Easton, one of our newest student volunteers and member of our Steering Group!
Hi, I'm Ruth. I'm a long-time student, a gardener, and an occasional knitter. As a part-time student, I am mainly taking courses that would lead me to a BA in International Studies. The VSSN stood out for me as a project that I would love to be involved in because my favourite work has almost always been in the nonprofit sector.
"Meeting of the Minds" is a FREE conference that will take place on June 9 at Luther College at the University of Regina. Space is limited - ensure your spot by registering early!

Travel subsidies are available to help cover travel costs for students and small nonprofits who are coming from outside Regina. For more information on the conference, or to register, click here

What have we been exploring this month? In our search for learning opportunities for the nonprofit sector we found some interesting material: The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation initiated and funds Innoweave. "Innoweave provides free webinars, action oriented workshops, easily accessible micro tools, and coaching funding to implement Social Innovation approaches for community organizations."
