Developing loving relationships with Christ and our community

Featured Ministry: Sunset 2 Sunset
By Rafael Mauries and Bobbie Golding, Ministry Leaders

Sunset to Sunset (S2S) provides teens and their families a place to gather each Friday evening to welcome the Sabbath. Our mission statement is: Youth coming together to connect; nourishing the body, mind and soul with God. With this mission in mind, the goal of the ministry is to make our church youth and community feel welcome at our church by providing a meal and a relevant message. Messages are presented by teens, juniors, and other church members.

Some topics that we have covered include: peer pressure, stress, being a friend, the fruit of the Spirit, chosen by Christ, being thankful, and giving. In the future we plan to look at topics such as love, serving, and time management. If you are interested in volunteering to be a guest speaker, please contact us.

We ask that the church support our ministry by praying for our youth, our leaders, and for those who will visit and experience the program. We also appreciate any donations to our ministry, which will allow us to put on future summer programs where we can invite our neighbors and our community. Please mark donations "Sunset to Sunset" on your tithe envelope.
