Developing Loving Relationships with
        C
hrist and Our Community.

Hello Stonehill Church Family,

We look forward to worshiping with you this Sabbath!

Food for thought...
I’ve renewed my determination to ask myself these questions before I bring anything of significance into this house in the future:

--Can I afford it?
--Do I really need it?
--Do I need it now?
--Do I have something like it already?
--Can I find a cheaper substitute?
--Is this the best deal?

Then I’m going to go home and sleep on it for 24 hours. If I decide to go back and buy it in the morning, I’ll know without a doubt that this (whatever it is) can come into my house.

You lost it, we found it, come get it! Please check the lost and found items on the table by the Board Room and in the kitchen for any items that might belong to you or your family. All remaining items will be taken to Goodwill on Monday, June 27!!!!

The church family is invited to the Graduation Celebration for Elizabeth Parrish, Saturday, June 18 at the Stonehill Church, 5:30 pm. This will be an elegant potluck dinner with a special program. Please bring your finest food and wear your most fashionable Sabbath attire and help make this a memorable celebration.

Worship Service
Praise in Giving: Our Local Church Budget.
Wealth is a gift from God. Many men of God were rich. Abraham, David, and Solomon were just a few. “The desire to accumulate wealth is an original affection of our nature, implanted there by our heavenly Father for noble ends” (Stewardship, p. 148) Many use the young rich ruler as grounds to refuse wealth. “Go, sell what you have and give to the poor…” (Matt. 9:21) However, this young man’s problem wasn’t the money, but the love of money. “Christians are safe only in acquiring money as God directs, and using it in channels which He can bless.” (Stewardship, p. 19, 141)
Whether rich or poor, spiritual prosperity comes from dependency upon God. Wealth or the lack of it should not come between God and the believer. What a privilege we have to give from what the Lord has given us this week. God demands faithfulness, which is the reason why He says “My son, give me your heart.” (Prov. 23:26)

Praise in Music:
