Developing loving relationships with Christ and our community

Featured Ministry: Vacation Bible School
 Ciara Parks, Ministry Leader

Stonehill Church will be hosting Vacation Bible School (VBS) again this summer, July 22-26 at 6:30-9:00pm each night. VBS is a program that is written by a team of Seventh-day Adventist children’s ministries leaders and pastors with lessons that feature a Seventh-day Adventist point of view that will connect with kids from your church and community. All lessons are based on the Bible and focus on the life of Jesus. Kids will meet Jesus and learn about His many miracles and the plan of salvation. The week will be wrapped up on Saturday, July 27 with a special program during the Divine Service. Be sure to come and see what your kids have learned!
The goal of this ministry is for kids to have some summer fun in a safe and educational environment where they learn about Jesus. This summer’s theme is set in Jamii Kingdom, where the kids will have a great time exploring an African savanna while making friends and learning how we are all part of God’s big family. Christ-centered activities will introduce kids to the plan of salvation and how we can share the Good News with others.
The church can help by
registering their kids who will attend VBS as soon as possible! Also encourage and invite your friends and neighbors to come to VBS. We are also in need of the following items:
  • Adult-sized African attire for volunteers to wear
  • African-themed items and animals for decorating around the church
  • 60 Aluminum Cans for African Drum craft
We also ask that the church pray for this program, our children, their families, and the volunteers who are involved in making this a success. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the ministry leader.
Dear Church Family,

We hope this newsletter is a useful resource for church members to stay involved and be in-the-know.
