In Ringgold, Georgia, is an underpass with low clearance of only 11 feet, 7 inches. Even with all the warning signs everywhere - bright yellow signs, flashing lights, dangling object, etc. -  telling of the detour around the low clearance underpass, invariably two or three times a year a truck driver will ignore or not notice the signage and plow into the bridge. And the result is a heavily damaged truck, a fine of $10,000, and a blocked roadway for several hours while the mess is being cleaned up! Our Adventist Television Ministries – It Is Written, Breath of Life, and Faith for Today – do a wonderful job of broadcasting the signs to a largely unwarned world, and they deserve of faithful support. Please uphold these ministries in your prayers, and plan to give a generous offering today.

Wife’s Prayer Answered
Olga and Johnny were looking for a church in Orange Walk, the town where they lived in Belize. They did not feel right in the conservative Sunday church they visited and Johnny would not accompany Olga to the Adventist church when the neighbors invited them. Finally, they joined a liberal Sunday church. Then Johnny moved across the country to help a friend with a pizza business. Olga and the children soon joined him. There they attended a church belonging to the same denomination. When they moved back to Orange Walk, something did not seem right in their old church.
One day Olga heard a program by Adventist evangelist Doug Batchelor, speaking about keeping the Sabbath. But when she asked Johnny what he thought of the Sabbath, he yelled at her and told her he did not want to hear anything about the Sabbath. That night Olga prayed that God would have her husband come to church with her if they were to keep the Sabbath. The next morning Johnny surprised her by telling her that he was convinced they needed to worship God on the Sabbath. After she had gone to bed the night before, he had heard a program by Doug Batchelor about keeping the Sabbath and had started a deeper research of the Bible that night. Olga and Johnny went to the Adventist church the next Sabbath and have never looked back.
