Hello Stonehill Church Family,
We look forward to worshiping with you this Sabbath!
Johan Gutierrez from Austin Spanish First SDA Church, TX
Stonehill Christian Academy Summer Camp is canceled for this summer.
Please help us save our septic pump. Please, please, please do not flush Clorox wipes, baby wipes (not even wipes labeled as flushable!), feminine products, etc. Please dispose of these items in the trash can. Toilet paper and body waste are the only items that should be flushed. Thank you for your help in this matter.
Thank you to each one of you who have saved labels for our Labels for Missions project. We turned in over 500 labels last year. This year, however, we received new guidelines regarding what labels are accepted. Labels from canned foods (Worthington, Loma Linda and Caroline) are accepted but labels from frozen food of any brand are no longer accepted. All UPC codes from canned products must begin with 28989 or 45561. (Even though frozen foods may begin with these numbers, they are not accepted.) Watch the lobby for a “Labels for Missions” box of where to leave your labels.

The ‘Nudging’ Pamphlet
Juanita, the youngest of seven siblings, disliked church as a small girl growing up. Her mother made her walk four miles to Sunday school and back in the summer. She never had a Bible in her home and describes her childhood as “awful.” Her father allowed various men to stay at their farm and some were abusive. As an adult, Juanita married and divorced twice. She drank and lived with various boyfriends. She raised two girls as she held various jobs. When her daughters once asked to go to church, she bluntly replied, “I won’t be a hypocrite. I’m not going to party all night and then get up in the morning and go to church.” Than one day her mailbox held an invitation to a Revelation Seminar. She felt an irresistible desire to attend.
On the first night, she asked a church member, “Why do you go to church on Saturday?” to which the member replied, “The pastor will talk about that later.” Each night Juanita asked the same question and received the same answer. She continued attending to find out the answer. Partway through the four week series, Juanita received a Bible and started reading it. When the pastor finally presented about the seventh-day Sabbath, Juanita could see that God set aside the day at Creation. Juanita accepted the Sabbath and was baptized. People have noticed big changes in Juanita since she accepted Jesus. Sometimes Juanita is tempted to drink as she used to but she has chosen new friends that help her not to drink. She likes to hang out with her new Best Friend. Thank you for your mission offering that led her to Jesus.
