This is an invitation to teachers and schools in the Auckland Uniservices contract provision to participate in weekend Wānanga. Facilitators will still be working and providing in-school visits.
Programme details
Participants will receive a full programme prior to each Wānanga once schools have identified their learning needs with their respective facilitators. Broadly each Wānanga will cover:
  • Developing, Implementing and Assessment in Te Reo Maori programmes
  • Strengthening te reo Māori proficiency for effective programme delivery
  • Language Learning Strategies and Application in Classroom
  • Developing pāngarau programmes using Poutama Tau and other resources
  • Developing pūtaiao programmes
  • Assessment practices and using assessment tools

Te Whatu Kura - Induction and Mentoring Programme 2016
Nau mai, Haere mai!

We invite Tumuaki, Mentors and Provisionally Registered Teachers to participate in our professional learning programme, to support their PRTs to full certification.
 
This programme focuses on supporting and building the leadership capacity of mentor teachers to move PRTs towards full registration. Our programme is open to Māori-medium Provisionally Registered Teachers, their mentors and Tumuaki in Māori medium Level 1 and Level 2 settings.
