We are screening the Olympics each day in the student lounge. Head on up and watch our athletes compete.  There's free Hot Chocolate and sometimes even cookies!

ASA PANCAKE DAY: 24 August

Pancake Day is coming back by popular demand! Come to Student Central on Wednesday 24th August, cast a vote for one or more of your inspiring lecturers and enjoy a pancake on us. We recognise each lecturer who is nominated by inviting them to our awards ceremony and luncheon so don't let your lecturer miss out!  You can read all about our Lecturer of the Year awards on our website and whilst you're there, cast your vote online!

CLASS ADVOCATE EXTENSION TRAINING

ASA now offers three levels of advanced advocacy training. The training is only available to Class Advocates who have already completed the basic training module and you cannot progress to the next module until you have competed the one before it. You MUST register in order to attend the training. If you have completed module 1 which was offered last year and last week, you still have time to sign up for modules 2 and 3 being offered on Thursday afternoons. Alternatively there is a full day option on Saturday 20th August (spaces are limited, so make sure you sign up soon!)

CLUBS' POLICY FEEDBACK SOUGHT

We have been asked to find out how the current Clubs', Societies and Cultural Groups policy is working for our clubs.  This is the policy that governs how clubs are run and grants are awarded on all 3 Massey campuses.  If you are a member of a club and have any suggestions to put forward, please send them to Jacqueline at ASA by the 26th August.

VOLUNTEER WITH ASA

We are always on the look out for keen and reliable volunteers to help us out here at ASA! If you would like to get more involved and get some real experience that you can add to your CV, why not sign up to our volunteering database? This will allow us to email you when volunteering opportunities come along. There is no obligation to take part and sometimes you won't be able to, but if you do have some spare time that you would like to put to good use, sign up here. (And as a bonus - you'll get to wear an ASA green t-shirt!!)

You WILL SAVE both TIME & MONEY if you don't have to drive round and round the carparks looking for a space! Find out more & sign up here.
