Starting 1 January, ICCT officially commenced hosting the Administrative Unit of the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF), a forum with 29 member countries and the European Union. Additionally, ICCT is supporting the GCTF Foreign Terrorist Fighter Working Group.

Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs Bert Koenders visits ICCT

ICCT and the GCTF Administrative Unit welcomed the Netherlands Minister of Foreign Affairs Bert Koenders and a delegation of his Ministry. The purpose of this visit was to discuss the Joint Meeting of GCTF and the Global Coalition Against ISIL/Da'esh that was held on 11 January in The Hague.

Also this year, ICCT and the T.M.C. Asser Institute will convene an Advanced Summer Programme on Counter-Terrorism in The Hague. The programme will take place from 29 August until 2 September. More information will soon be available on our website.
