This Thursday, April 30, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) will hold a special meeting of the Board of Trustees to discuss Mauna Kea and the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT). It is very likely that the Board will take a vote that will have a negative impact on the construction of TMT.

Your voice needs to be heard!

OHA has issued an anonymous five-question online survey seeking input on the public’s opinion of OHA based on several stances they may opt to take related to TMT. We’re encouraging supporters to complete the quick survey prior to the meeting on Thursday via the link below:

This recent editorial by Kam Napier, editor-in-chief, Pacific Business News clearly states why the business community must stand up and have a voice on this. Let's not forget the Superferry, Alexander & Baldwin’s original plans for Kakaako Makai, and the current challenges against a dairy on Kauai and Turtle Bay Resort. As Kam notes:

"Things the business community supports get killed when that support is invisible."

Stand up and let your support for TMT be known.
