Local Wine Flavor

Known as the "banana belt," the Lewis Clark Valley is renowned for its temperate climate within the colder surrounding regions, producing high quality fruit. Formed by the Snake and Clearwater rivers, this valley currently grows 25 varieties of red and white wine grapes, and is home to over 16 vineyards on more than 80 acres. -Idaho Wine Commission

Now, local wineries are winning their own medals for varietals made from local and regional grapes. Taste for yourself and take some home to share with friends and family.
