We would like to end the year by thanking you, our alumni in every corner of the world, for your immense contribution to Waterford. This year we have had so many of you supporting the school through your participation in various events that included: UWC day, Annual Careers Fair, 24 Hour Run, UWC Africa Week, Nyatsela – a 21-day walk around Eswatini for our Form 3 students, the PSA Golf Day, the 10thanniversary celebration of our partnership with the Higherlife Foundation as well as form 5 and IB2 graduation ceremonies. We would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for your continued support to WK. The UWC Pledge campaign encourages alumni to give back to the movement in: Time, Talent, and Treasure. We are proud to say that this concept is second nature to WK Alumni, you always show up in numerous and meaningful ways. Below is a slide showing the different ways which WK alumni gave back in Time, Talent, and Treasure. Once again, thank you!

Ekukhuleni Residence Updates
The refurbishment of Ekukhuleni hostel is already underway and taking place in stages
The renovation is underway now, and we would like to thank you for your generous contributions towards the campaign for the renovation of the residence. The refurbishment of the building is taking place in stages and the students are housed in temporary dorms at each stage. So far the temporary dorms were built and completed and now we have commenced with the renovation beginning with the annexe. This hostel was built in the 1960s, and has seen many students pass through it. This refurbishment was long overdue. Without the support of the WK Alumni community, we would not have been able to achieve this milestone. We will keep you updated on progress regarding the renovations.

Our overall goal is to go from 25% students on scholarship to 40% and we can only do this with your continued support. Please consider making a gift to the WK Scholarship Fund this year.
