Building Closed + Lab Monitor Hours Suspended for Extended Weekend
July 4-July 6

The VA Offices will be closed Monday, July 5th and resume regular hours on Tuesday, July 6th. There will be no Lab Monitor Hours on Sunday, July 4th, Monday, July 5th, and Tuesday, July 6th. Lab Monitor Hours will resume Wednesday, July 7th.

Processing to Thrive | BCSC
Thurs. July 8th and 22nd, 2-3pm


Processing to Thrive is a support group for currently enrolled Brown students of color (undergraduate, graduate, and medical students) and is aimed at providing students of color an opportunity to be in community with each other, and to discuss the complex challenges they face within the college environment. The focus of Processing to Thrive is on creating a safe space for students of color to hold space for each other, and to discuss a variety of topics relevant to identity and experience. Topics in the group may vary based on the preference and needs of attendees. Processing to Thrive follows all current Brown COVID-19 protocols. More info and link to join

Please join us for a Sarah Doyle Center Virtual Lunchtime conversation with our featured guest Karen Craddock, Brown University’s first Tribal Community Member in Residence (TCMR) at the Native American and Indigenous Studies Initiative. In this informal Zoom conversation, Karen will share about her work with a focus on wellness and learning. Bring your lunch and join us for this virtual gathering as we get to know Karen. Participants will be entered in a prize giveaway, featuring a suggested book from Karen!

VA Office Closed on Fridays
The Department of Visual Art office will be closed on Fridays. Visual Art staff is available remotely. Please email the staff if you have a question or to set up a virtual meeting.
