Already it's August? Summer Reading is almost finished - you have until 5pm on Saturday, August 5 to turn in your last reading cards for prizes or drawing entries.  But even with Summer Reading done, there still are fun events happening all month at the library.

On Tuesday, August 8 at 10am, bring your watercolors & easels to enjoy a morning of painting on our patio with other paint enthusiasists.

Kids' Scrap Craft


Celebrate the last week of summer on Tuesday, August 22 at 2pm, kids of all ages are invited to create! We'll provide the craft scraps & materials for kids to imagine into their own unique creation.
Total Solar Eclipse

The Solar Eclipse


Prepare for the solar event of the summer with GVSU professor Dr. Doug Furton. On Thursday, August 17 at 7pm, he'll be discussing the eclipse and the best places to view it in West Michigan.
