At IWI US we believe that bench rest shooting and keyboard heroics aren’t the true test of a rifle’s character. That character is best defined by those who’ve shed blood, sweat and tears using that rifle to defend their lives, the lives of their brothers and the freedom of their country. We were able to interview an IDF soldier, who chose to remain anonymous, about his experience using the TAVOR® X95™. Continue to our blog to read his personal account.
The 3rd Annual Texas Firearms Festival is just two weeks away and we’re thrilled to be exhibiting Israel's finest weapons at the three-day event alongside more than 40 major manufacturers from around the world. Shoot, shop and buy the best brands on live shooting ranges in a no pressure atmosphere and enjoy some of Austin’s best food trucks, perfect for the whole family!
The festival will be held October 14-16, 2016 at the Best of the West shooting range in Liberty Hill, Texas. All tickets are still available. You know what they say, everything is bigger and better in Texas; this is one event you don't want to miss!
If you're looking to get even more out of your IWI TAVOR® X95™ or an excuse to finally pull the trigger on one of the most popular rifles of the year, the new 9mm Conversion Kit is for you! Easily convert your X95™ from 5.56 NATO to 9mm Luger Parabellum (9x19mm) with a new 17" cold hammer forged barrel (removal wrench included), complete blowback recoil assembly, magwell adapter, deflector and a 32-round steel 9mm magazine. Available for $899, the caliber conversion kit is shipped in right hand configuration, but can also be fully converted to left hand.
The TAVOR® X95™ 9mm Conversion Kit is designed specifically for the X95™ and will not work in the TAVOR® SAR, however, separate conversion kits are also available for the classic bullpup.
There is lot to be said for a full-size, hammer-fired pistol chambered for 9mm Luger and built for harsh desert conditions. The IWI Jericho® 941 FS is a steel gun with dovetailed battle sights built upon the proven CZ75 design. The gun’s low bore axis minimizes muzzle rise and felt recoil and double-stack magazines allow for increased capacity of 9mm Luger cartridges which serve well both when ringing steel on the range and in dynamic defense situations. Additionally, a frame-mounted safety and double-action trigger allows for “cocked and locked” carry.
You don't have to be a professional photographer to submit a photo for our monthly contest, but we'd be lying if this submission from Glenn B., of Texas, didn't immediately catch our eye when it landed in our inbox. An UZI® in .22LR, Glenn raved to us about the accuracy of the pistol, capable of grouping five shots on an ace of spades playing card from 20 feet. In fact, he loved the gun so much he also purchased an UZI® PRO pistol!
Can you believe next month is already October? In the spirit of Halloween and trick-or-treating, send us a photo of your tricked out IWI US firearm and we'll pick one person to win an IWI hat and be featured in next month's issue! All photos should be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject "Close Quarters Contest" no later than October 21, 2016 to be eligible to win.
