Here's How We Can

Beat Coronavirus

We’re proud to announce that we have joined forces with legendary Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ricardo Montaner to support the World Health Organization's efforts to educate everyone on proper prevention techniques.

And, we used peacetech to do that.

With the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reporting confirmed cases in nearly every country and region, governments are taking action to ensure their citizens practice proper behavioral changes. Montaner wants to contribute to this goal as well, and he hopes this campaign leads to policy changes in South and Central America.

Through our digital campaign, which launched yesterday on all of Montaner's social media platforms, we want to quell concerns about and provide services for the rapidly spreading coronavirus. With a misinformation pandemic outpacing the dissemination of the disease, this peacebuilding campaign will equip everyone with accurate information to stop COVID-19 in its tracks.

In order to give the most up-to-date information in our video, Dr. Mirta Roses Periago — one of the six Special Envoys on COVID-19 appointed by the WHO Director General — says these simple actions are some of the greatest protection methods:
  • Staying home
  • Keeping social distance
  • Washing hands frequently and thoroughly
  • Practicing proper hygiene
It’s not only up to the governments, policy makers and advocates to fight COVID-19 — it’s up to us. For more information visit:
