Samoohika Satyanarayana Swamy Puja, Friday, May 5th, 6:30 - 8:15 PM: Our priests will lead a Samoohika Satyanarayana Swamy Puja at the temple on this auspicious Pournima day.
To sign up please fill the google form. Please read the form before signing up. For the families that sign up, supplies will be provided by the temple. Email with details closer to the occasion will be sent to signed up participants. Walk ins are always welcome. But, please bring Bhagwan Satyanarayana's picture, a plate, 5 small cups, a spoon, flowers and fruits to participate.
Gurudev Jayanti & last regular BV day, Sunday, May 7th: Pujya Gurudev’s 107th Jayanti is on May 8th and we’ll be celebrating this auspicious occasion at Bala Vihar with Guru Paduka Puja during Assembly and a special treat for the kids after class! May 7th is also our last BV class day for this year and after the Puja, kids will head to their classes to wrap up the year with their teachers. We will meet on May 21st for our final Bala Vihar celebration to celebrate our graduating class of 2023!
May 7th is the last regular class for Bala Vihar classes, language and chanting classes and adult satsang. Hindi team has a special treat for the students in Hindi! Remember to thank your teachers and gurus for their selfless seva and offerings each Sunday! Healthy Eating! A health talk, Sunday, May 7th, 10:15 - 11:15 AM: We tune our mind with study groups, workshops, satsang and study of scriptures. In addition to our mind, let us also help our body be tuned to serve us. Dr. Meena Patel and Mrs. Beverly Seagren will lead a health talk on South Asian diet and guide us on how to make healthier choices. This will be followed by a Q&A session.
Meditation Workshop, May 13th, 10 am - 12 noon: Based on Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda's book, "Meditation & Life" - this workshop is for sincere seekers of all levels. Learn the steps for a successful meditation practice in this workshop by PriyaJi.
