River health was at the forefront of discussions at our stall at Tropicana earlier this month. The event hosted by our partner Rockhampton Regional Council, attracted over 2,500 people interested in sustainability.

Our team hosted a water bugs activity that lead to discussions with members of the community on river health and the report card. Our giant Maisy the Mayfly game also had a lot of use, by both kids and adults! We estimate that over 500 people spoke to us over the course of the day, with many more looking at our display as they explored the event. Most people we spoke to were keen to learn more about the work of the Partnership and were pleased to hear about the involvement of our partners .
