Here are some suggestions for making 2020 NPAW a good experience for yourself and others:
Refrain from comments that are unwelcome or offensive to members of the community. This is true for acts or comments that demean another person for any reason, but particularly of gender, gender identity or expression, race, religion, ethnicity, age or physical ability.
Mute your microphones unless you are invited to speak by moderators or hosts of the event.
Type questions for speakers into the chat or Q&A window, if one is available.
Please be patient in the event of technical difficulties and interruptions.
Please be punctual, and give yourself time to set up your personal equipment to verify your connection.
Lastly, don’t forget to keep your NPA membership updated. Watch this video for step-by-step instructions on how to join the NPA, sign up for a free affiliate membership using your institutional email address and join with our institutional membership.
