My recommended read this week is a piece from Feminism In India about why women's laughter is always seen as loud and immoral. The piece touches on women's laughter as it's represented in Indian pop culture. It gave me so much to think of ahead of next week's episode of The Critical Stans which looks at desi representation. I hope you enjoy the read as well.
