Can't believe we're already wrapping up 2018! 

First things first, we want to say a huge congratulations to our Production Manager, Josh Sutterfield for winning the 8k Gallop and Gorge race on Thanksgiving Day, after also recently winning a 50k race! Congrats, Josh! 

We're also excited to announce our Carrboro Coffee Roasters Holiday Gift Guide is BACK! We've compiled a list of our favorite CCR goodies that are perfect for the coffee lover on your list, with everything from stocking stuffers to tote bags.

Carrboro Coffee Collaborates

Only a few more weeks to get your No Quarter Coffee Stout! Our friends at Steel Sting Brewery brew this every year with our cold pressed Guatemala La Providencia coffee from producer Juan Francisco Pira. It's an 8.0% coffee and oatmeal stout that features an intense coffee aroma and flavor, with a finish of semi-sweet cocoa. This batch has an additional infusion of our Ethiopia ARDI for floral and berry notes.

Head to the Steel String Tap Room to give it a try, or grab a six-pack of bottles from Open Eye Cafe or Caffe Driade to take home!

Farm To Fork Pop-Up Dinner


We had a blast at the Farm to Fork Pop-Up Dinner and are excited to do it again at Lavender Oaks Farm on Thursday the 6th. We love supporting Farm to Fork every year, and we enjoyed sharing our stories of Farmer Direct Relationships and the resulting coffees! 

Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday Parade

We also enjoyed supplying coffee at this year's holiday parade! Folks biked the route on December 8th starting at the Morehead Planetarium.

T&BC Annual Tree Lighting - RESCHEDULED!

Join us for the annual Tree Lighting Celebration in front of Townsend Bertram & Co on December 13th at 6:30pm! We'll be pouring the T&BC 30th anniversary coffee blend we designed for free during the ceremony. You can check out their website for more information.

Two special Relationship coffees that, when carefully combined, remind us of seasonal flavors and the warmth of baked, spiced fruit desserts. COE National Award Winner Finca San Isidro brings the ripe, baked fruits and baking spice to this combo; the special lot of Finca San Jose: La Perla --courtesy of our long running Direct Relationship farmer, Arnold Paz-- adds the lush, round, brown sugar-sweet body to this unique pairing. Perfect for waking up with on cool mornings or paired with seasonal desserts!
