Venure: Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management (BMLFUW), Stubenbastei 5, Festsaal, 1010 Vienna

The workshop has two distinctive objectives.
First, the paper on bioeconomy RTI strategies in the Danube Region and the results of the online-consultation will be presented.
Second, research proposals on Bioeconomy and corresponding funding possibilities will be discussed. Participants from the previous workshops developed proposals on Bioeconomy activities and research. You can discuss and network for the proposals handed in. Additionally, the workshop is open to new proposals and ideas. If you have a new idea please fill out the proposal fact sheet attached and send it to Elisabeth Denk (elisabeth.denk@boku.ac.at) until 30 September 2016.
COST was identified as one appropriate funding scheme for the proposals that have been handed in. A COST-Expert from the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) will present the program and its possibilities for the Danube region in more detail. The workshop provides the opportunity to participate in developing those ideas further and to build future cooperation and networks.

Participating at the workshop is free of charge and we can offer reimbursement of travel expenses. If you want to join the workshop in Vienna please fill out the application form attached and send it to weigl.oevaf@boku.ac.at by Friday, 30 September 2016.
