Merry Christmas
A Happy New Year

As we complete our third year here at BFA, we are still in awe of how God has orchestrated our lives. He truly is a loving father who provides for all we need. We enjoy our work and lives here in Germany and hope to continue serving missionaries and their families as long as God calls us to be here. So, our plans for the present moment are to remain at BFA for two more school years before we return to the USA for our totalization year. Your support and prayers make our ministry possible. Thank you!

We are looking for new ministry partners! This could be you or anyone you know. Currently we are $400/month short of reaching 100% of our support budget. Please prayerfully consider becoming a monthly financial supporter or giving a year end gift.

Teaching and Maintenance:

This semester has me teaching a group of sophomore boys.  They finished their last project just before break and will be turning in their wooden pen sets when we return to class in January.

The Maintenance department has been blessed this year with the return of one member and the addition of a new manager.  This staffing change has meant less demand on each team member.
We are finishing up work on the new addition which now is home to the middle school.  Change in local government has meant a project slated for summer now needs to be completed during Christmas break.

Small group galls update:

Let me start with the best news...we have one girl in our group who has decided to commit her life to Christ following the Senior trip to Rome!

Over the last few Tuesday evening we have focused on advent looking at what the scripture tells us about hope, love, joy, and peace. Our discussions have been deeper during this quarter. Of course we have also had fun attending Christmas Banquette together and playing "Just Dance" at our Christmas party! We are looking forward to our last semester together with a mix of anticipation and a bit of sadness. Thank you for praying for these girls.
Prayer requests:
  • For the maintenance team as they witness to local contractors who are working with the school.
  • Small group girls to deepen their relationships with God or to commit to one.
  • Alyson and Jessie to have wisdom and discernment in what topics to cover in small group.
  • For staff and students traveling during the Christmas break all over the world and then back to Germany.
  • Safety and Biblical connections for Charlie and the other participants of the Israel study trip in January.
  • The building projects stay on target over the Christmas break.
  • Patience's feet to continue to improve in strength.
