Hello, Seven Hills Community!

We are excited to announce that Mr. Ryan Grutsch, RC Assistant Principal, has accepted the newly created position of SHPA Richfield Middle School Principal beginning July 1 for the 2023-2024 school year! 

Mr. Grutsch has held various teaching and leadership positions over the past 13 years: Trivium and Logic Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, Academic Dean, Behavior Specialist, Q-Comp Coordinator, Honor Council Liaison, Soccer Coach, SHPA Board Member, among others. He will finish the school year in his current role as Assistant Principal. 

Mr. Grutsch is a proven excellent educator and leader. Seven Hills is proud to have him continue on as the Middle School Principal to help lead our mission to engage students in a rigorous Classical education, designed to prepare each one for strong citizenship and life-long learning.

In addition, Mrs. Martine Walker will become the SHPA Richfield Elementary and Middle School Assistant Principal, ending her time as the RC Administrative Intern. Mrs. Walker will assume her new role beginning July 1. We are grateful for the commitment and leadership she brings to our community. Mrs. Farrell will continue as Interim Executive Director to lead the LEA and remain the Richfield Elementary Principal.

In other news, we have several fun events across SHPA:

• This week is Spirit Week and we are holding a food drive for VEAP
• Spring Break is coming soon (3/27-3/31)
• Spring Conferences (4/6-4/7)
• The CIVITAS Fair is approaching quickly (RC: April 20 and BC: 4/27)
