Report: The death of the performance review

Recent coverage in the general and HR media has reported some high-profile decisions to abandon or replace the traditional performance review. We wanted to understand whether these decisions were actually underpinned by evidence and data, or whether organisations might be engaging in an HR-related fad.

At our recent breakfast seminar on the topic, we examined the evidence for the performance review and the important considerations when making changes to the process.

Seminar: Employee engagement (26 April)

Have you ever wondered what people actually mean by 'employee engagement'? Is there even a link between individual engagement and organisational performance? ‬

Next month, we'll be shining an evidence-based spotlight on employee engagement, its various definitions and what the evidence tells us about the benefits we can expect from engagement solutions.

Blog: Pathway to success

In the second post from our team of early career psychologists, Katherine Evans talks about the challenge faced by many occupational psychology graduates who enter work without the professional skills needed to be a successful practitioner or to meet the minimum requirements of potential employers.

She also introduces our new development programme, Pathway, which aims to help graduates develop their experience in evidence-based practice, as well as the skills and competencies required of any professional in today’s workplace.
