Hello Everyone,
We have a club meeting this Monday (6th) at the Hampton Inn in LG at 7pm. Feel free to ride your sled there as we groom right to their parking lot.
We did have some warm temps the past two days and we did loose a little snow but the trails are holding up. Once you get into the woods the snow is still decent considering we literally have 5" of snowpack to work with. But with any luck we will have more snow for this weekend and into next week. There seems to be a consensus among forecasters that we are getting 8" - 14" of snow tonight into tomorrow so I'm pretty confident we will get about 2" - 3" based on how accurate they've been lately. lol
Some of our groomers took a break the last two days (due to the warm weather and flat trails) but all four machines will be rolling Saturday night. If we do get a foot of snow, the trails will be a mess on Saturday but they will slowly get better and better as we continue to groom Sunday and into next week. If we do get the snow they are predicting, I'm going to say the trails next week will be the best you've seen them in years. Let's hope they are right for once!
