Hello Everyone,
Friendly reminder we have a club meeting tonight (6th) at the Hampton Inn in LG at 7pm. Feel free to ride your sled there as we groom right to their parking lot. We did order some pizza for those that show up and want some food. I did get confirmation that the bar will be open.
We had a ridiculous amount of traffic on our trails this Sunday. All of our parking lots were overflowing with trucks and trailers plus all of the traffic that came from SSA and North Warren. Despite all of that the trails held up quite well. There are the occasional washouts here and there but for the most part the trails are pretty good still. Our groomers will be out at night as long as the temps drop below freezing, which should be most nights this week. We will do our best to keep the trails open until next weekend, but no promises.
There is a significant mudhole behind Stewarts in Luzerne that is not passable unless you're feeling froggy. We are trying to devise a plan to address this situation but for now it's not recommended to take that trail. That means no connection to SSA until we figure this out. People are attempting to by-pass the mudhole by going through private property but that is just creating problems for us. Please do not venture off the trails under any circumstance. If you were the one getting the phone calls you'd understand.
