It's summer time!

It is summer! We have great things and pics to share, great news and plans for the near future!

First of all, let's introduce our newest product! Cover your bum with our new riding skirt, the Bella Bumbrella!

The equestrian equivalent of our Rainwrap, the Bella Bumbrella, is worn around the waist and fastened inside around your upper leg and knees. Weighted at the front and on the sides, the Bella Bumbrella will protect your legs and saddle from the style and comfort!
Now you See Me.... with the Mini Me and Eppie!
As fans of the novel Silas Marner, we always thought we would name something after welcome The Eppie Coat! Available in yellow, red, navy and cadet blue, there is a colour to please most kiddies. You can see them on the website and more photos are to come!

Mini Me to the rescue! Now not only your dog (if you have one!) but also your children (if you have some!) can match you! ;-) Great colour combinations available as well. We would love to receive photos of little firemen in action!
We had a lot of fun during the Easter weekend! Hope you enjoyed our chocolate rabbit story!
Grandee turned 100 !
We had told you that our office was very well decorated with great artwork. Well, this painter, Grandee , just turned 100 years old a few days ago and received a telegram from the Queen! it is wonderful to still have a granddad in the family!
Isn't it exciting? Here is are a couple of his nudes for you! ;)
We are moving offices soon though and a new office awaits us! We will be bringing some of this artwork with us, of course!
What's in a name?
From Middle English and Old French legat, Leggett was the name given to an appointed or ordained representative or ambassador.

In the modern urban dictionary, a Leggit is apparently an insect resembling a typical water bug, only with lots and lots of legs!

However, neither of the above definitions are what the GinD Leggits are named after!

To 'leggit', in local and GinD terms, is to rush somewhere or to run across the road quickly when you probably shouldn't!
If those insects, the leggits, had GinD Leggits on all their many many legs when they go into the water well... they would be our best customers!

Kerry Cycling Challenge

Speaking about water, Georgia cycled 60km through 45k mph winds and driving rain in Kerry on the 10th of April for the charity
Orbis Ireland. Being met by smiling faces and lots of biscuits and jellies at the community centre at the 40k mark was very welcome as determined riders poured water out of their shoes and wrung out their gloves! Georgia was pleased to have her Leggits
Events so far!
Our first show of 2016 was the Berlin Fahrradschau! A great urban cycling show and a delight to meet some new and existing customers. The Hendrix Gin was not on tap this year which was probably a good thing ;)
And then! We were at Badminton again this year. We had brilliant sunshine with everyone having picnics in prime horse viewing locations! We had the pleasure of launching the Bella Bumbrella, our new riding skirt and it was nice to hear the name Bella Bumbrella rolling off the tongues of passers-by.
We are now in Tattersalls! A nice horsey show in Ireland. Home sweet home! ;)
