IAD 2015 Celebrated Worldwide

Over 400 organizations across the globe hosted over 500 International Archaeology Day events in 27 countries!

Thank you!

If you celebrated International Archaeology Day this year, you were part of something extraordinary. Over 100,000 people participated in IAD events around the world, affirming that this annual celebration is a fantastic opportunity to spread information about archaeology and build enthusiasm for the discipline.

The Archaeological Institute of America would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the hundreds of people around the world that made this day possible—your hard work and dedication is what makes this day so successful and ensures a bright future for archaeology.

Don't forget to tell us about your event!

It is important that we track IAD participation and we ask that you please complete a follow up form after your event concludes.  If you include a report and images, we will feature it on the IAD blog.  If you are short on time, please just submit the form with an approximate number of event participants and select an event type.
