Investment Opportuntities in the Aging in Place Market
Aging populations are now a phenomenon across both developed and emerging markets, and the trend is accelerating. The longevity mega-trend opens up important opportunities for investors across the broad areas of real estate, health care, and technology: multifamily condos, senior housing, urban life sciences clusters, pharmaceuticals and biotech, and technology enabled medical services and devices.

Stephanie is founder and CEO of Vida, a next-generation mobile continuous care platform for preventive health and chronic health conditions. Prior to Vida, Tilenius was with KPCB, where she worked with late-stage portfolio companies including Nextdoor and MyFitnessPal. Prior to KPCB, Stephanie was VP of global commerce and payments at Google, helping build and launch new products and platforms. A co-founder of PlanetRx.com, she has also worked at eBay, PayPal, Intel, AOL and Firefly, and holds an MBA from Harvard.

AARP Aging In Place $50k Challenge
The AARP Foundation, in collaboration with Aging 2.0, invites startups from across the United States to apply for the 2016 Aging in Place $50K Challenge. Competitors will have a chance to win a $50,000 cash prize for the most innovative solution that will help low-income adults 50 and older continue to live safely, independently and comfortably in their own homes as they age.

Applications must be submitted online before the May 2, 2016 deadline.
