September 8, 2016 NWSP Update

Friends of the Near West Side:

As summer winds down, we're looking forward to a busy and exciting fall. Since the announcement of the finalists for Rev-Up MKE at the end of July, our eight finalists have been hard at work preparing for the live-pitch event on September 27 at The RAVE / Eagles Ballroom. Check out the website for more information about the candidates and register to attend the live-pitch event here.

The Near West Side is an incredible place to live - with wonderful neighborhoods, beautiful homes and diverse communities. We want even more people to discover what makes our neighborhood of neighborhoods so great through our first annual Open House Bus Tour. We encourage anyone and everyone that might want to call the Near West Side home, to participate. More information is below and you can register online.

Want to help us create a safer and more vibrant community? Our brief resident survey is still open. Make your voice heard by participating here or see below for more details.
Please continue to check our newsletters, social media pages and blog for more opportunities to get involved in our neighborhood. As always, if you wish to share news from your organization, or would like to see something featured in the e-newsletter, please send us a note at

Keep it up,

Keith Stanley

In 2015, over 700 residents in the Near West Side made their voice heard by completing a survey. This was essential input that helped guide the priorities and work of Near West Side Partners over the last year. We're reaching out again this year - and we hope to hear from even more residents! The 2016 resident survey is a direct tool for influencing change in your neighborhood.
