GOOD NEIGHBOR DESIGNATION

Over the past year, the Near West Side Partners awarded 35 properties the Good Neighbor Designation.

The Good Neighbor Designation recognizes properties on Milwaukee's Near West Side whose owners and managers are doing excellent work within their community, and making the Near West Side a great place to live. The objective assessment criteria, which were created collaboratively by property owners/managers, residents, and city officials, represent a standard that is above-and-beyond the minimum requirements of state and local law. It includes items related to safety, security, and aesthetic quality. Learn more about our Good Neighbor designated properties here.

The new Montessori charter school was created through Penfield Children’s Center, a provider of early childhood services for low-income children.
