Santiago is selected as one of the five most recommended gastronomical destinations in the world
 
The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, one of the world’s principal gastronomical references, named Santiago as one of the five cities that all gastronomy lovers must visit in 2016, alongside Seoul (South Korea), Sydney (Australia), San Sebastián (Spain) and Guadalupe Valley (Mexico). The article forms part of the annual selections that produce The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, a list drawn up by the British magazine, Restaurant, which in this opportunity chose to include Chilean gastronomy as a feature, little by little, hogging the attention of the rest of the world.

The Carnival, Con la Fuerza del Sol, in Arica, has become the third most important event to contain these particular characteristics in Latin America, following in the footsteps of the internationally renowned event in Rio de Janeiro and in the city of Oruro in Bolivia.
