Miami, Fla. – The Northwest 7th Avenue Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), also known as Uptown Avenue 7 is continuing its commitment to position the NW 7th Ave corridor as the premier location to live, work and play.

Uptown Avenue 7 brings a 365 virtual experience with some socially-distanced community highlights throughout the year. While COVID-19 has required postponement of its annual festival, the NW 7th Avenue CRA is committed to its continued support of businesses on the corridor by helping them to expand.

“Many small businesses have taken an economic hit as a result of the pandemic and we want them to know, we are here as a supportive bridge to get them to the other side” says Kevin Greiner, Uptown Avenue 7 Economic Development Coordinator. Although the sector has seen significant business growth over the years, the area is still ripe with possibilities for expansion.

Uptown Ave 7 has expanded its services to businesses by including marketing, compliance, and a direct connection to grant resources. Businesses can submit promotions to be featured on the Uptown Avenue 7 website through the IAMUPTOWN campaign and sign up for personalized consultation with Kevin Greiner, the Economic Development Coordinator. Businesses with no prior website can access basic website development services at no cost to them (limited application required).

The NW 7th Avenue CRA also plans on highlighting various businesses on the corridor through the IAMUPTOWN social and video campaigns which will help spread the word about their products and services. Information about the upcoming programming and events can be found on the new state of the art website which launches on January18th at uptownavenue7.com

Interested vendors or sponsors, please contact Ashlee Thomas at ashlee@muce305.org

Uptown Avenue 7 is made possible by the NW 7th Avenue CRA with support from Miami Dade County  Commissioner Jean Monestime.
