Welcome to the May edition of the HACCI Hermes Enews.
HACCI is pleased to announce its new main partner Bank of Sydney.
This exciting partnership reflects the shared values of our two organisations, our commitment to the success of Hellenic Australian businesses, and to fostering the next generation of Hellenic Australian thought leaders.
Bank of Sydney CEO Mr Miltos Michaelas said he considers the bank's strengthening of its long-term relationship with HACCI as an important enabler of its strategy for the Greek Community. He believes that HACCI is a source of positive energy and enthusiasm, and this resonates with the bank's own way of doing business.
HACCI is excited about this next phase in our growth, including enhancing our range of services and events for our members.
We see this new partnership with Bank of Sydney as a pivotal step forward. It will assist with our expansion plans, taking us towards a national footprint, representing Hellenic Australian businesses nation-wide.
This partnership between Bank of Sydney and HACCI is part of the Bank’s strategy to partner with and support various community and business groups, while also enhancing its vision to be Australia’s only true relationship Bank.

FRONDITHA CARE'S 40 YEAR GALA BALL
HACCI would like to offer a huge congratulations to Fronditha Care on its 40 years of operation. Fronditha Care is today one of the most active and effective organisations in the Australian Greek community, providing ethno-specific residential and community aged care services throughout Melbourne’s metropolitan regions and, in the last five years, into NSW.
To mark this occasion, the organisation hosted a highly successful Gala Ball in late May at the Glasshouse in Melbourne, with the renowned George Donikian as MC. It was an emotionally charged evening with multimedia showcasing the organisation’s history, and individual “thank you” cards from residents and community service clients to guests.
As a not-for-profit organisation, and in light of the changing environment in the aged care industry, the future forebodes difficulties and challenges ahead for Fronditha Care. Consequently, financial assistance from business groups, various organisations and individuals is paramount to its future development.
Major sponsor John Kallitsas, from Merino & Jumbuck Company Australia, captured this perfecftly in the speech when he said, “By supporting Fronditha Care we support our community but also our future selves.”
