February's Sunday Jazz Series presented by Eric Johnson was a huge hit! Thank you to the West Tisbury Library Foundation and the Friends of the West Tisbury Library for their generous support of music programming. Click here to view photos from the event, taken by Scott Kramer. Two more exciting musical programs are forthcoming in March: Musical Treasures Classical Recital (also sponsored by the Library Foundation and the Library Friends), & Bach's Seven Violins and Two Violas Spring Equinox Celebration. We hope to see you there!

We would like to remind our patrons that the library lends e-readers. Are you interested in borrowing an ebook but don't have a device to use? Or perhaps you're considering buying an e-reader but would like to test one out first? Ask a staff member about borrowing a Nook or Kindle, and discover the world of ebooks!

It's National Nutrition Month! Next time you're at the library, be sure to check out Amber's health and nutrition book display in the library lobby, as well as Laura's mindfulness-themed display under the stairs on the lower level. These displays rotate monthly, and are a great way to discover new and interesting picks by library staff.

March's calendar of events features poetry, music, cookies, crafts, storytelling, and... an egg hunt! Read on to find out more...
On March 9, 23, 30, & April 6, from 4-5:30pm, the library will be hosting a free, four-part poetry workshop for adults: “Poet In the Shed” taught by Jill Jupen. Do you write in secret? Are you reluctant to share your poems with others? Or to read in a public setting? Come share your poems in a safe, constructive environment. All levels welcome. Please pre-register at the library.
Love to bake?  Love cookies?  Join us for our cookie and recipe exchange, Sunday, March 13th at 2!  Please bring 3 dozen cookies and the recipe  – you’ll go home with as many cookies as you bring – minus a few eaten!  Participants will be able to sample cookies, share stories, and take home recipes.  This event is free and open to the public.
“Tweed’s Reads” Reading Group will meet on Wednesday, March 16 at 10:00am.
