Students Arrive at School Today
We are so excited to begin welcoming our young people back into our classrooms starting today. We’ve missed seeing them!

Continuing our CPS tradition of gathering First Day Faces, we want to see your child’s beautiful Day 1 smile. Share your photos with us; visit our Facebook page for details.

For a quick reminder of things to know as schools reopen, including direction for students who are waiting to hear about remaining in distance learning, visit our Back to School webpage.

CPS Returns Under Blended Learning Mode

Our 1-2-2 Blended Learning Model begins this week: All Mondays will be teacher-led, at-home learning, with the rest of the week divided into two days in person at school and two days at home for most students. Your child’s Group A or Group B designation determines the in-school and at-home schedules.

Look in your child’s PowerSchool account for your child’s group designation.

If you haven’t seen the phase-in schedule, please take a look.

Free Wi-Fi Still Available for Student Schoolwork

So far, 5,903 CPS students are being supported at home by the district’s free Wi-Fi program with Cincinnati Bell.
The Connect Our Students program with Cincinnati Bell began in July and is still active. Call (513) 566-3895 to get started.
Smiles Continue at Evanston Academy — Basking in National Blue Ribbon Award Pride!
Staff at Evanston Academy — our 2020 National Blue Ribbon award winner — is receiving plenty of love from the Board of Education and Superintendent Laura Mitchell, and a special shout out from fellow principals and colleagues who surprised Evanston with a drive-by parade.
On October 12, Superintendent Laura Mitchell visited Evanston Academy for a congratulatory Blue Ribbon tour; here she greets James Crook, Evanston Academy's physical education teacher.
Evanston Academy is among 367 schools nationwide to earn this top honor in 2020.
