We are heading to South East Queensland in the New Year.

A series of workshops building skills and confidence to identify, understand and assist people experiencing stress will be held in Maryborough, Monto, Binjour and Biggenden during the first week of February. The workshops are designed for farmers, community members, service providers and industry representatives who would like to develop their skills to better support family, friends, colleagues and clients experiencing stress.

Acknowledging when you're experiencing poor mental health and seeking help can be difficult and it can be hard to know where to go for support.

The new Farmer Health online support platform gives you access to registered and qualified Australian Psychologists no matter where you live, ­­and at a time that is convenient to you.

Increase your capacity to work with farming communities in 2020: Join Australia’s only Agricultural Health and Medicine course for rural professionals.

Graduate and agricultural professional Kelly Barnes now has an in-depth knowledge about the links between health and agriculture and is making a difference to farmers lives within her field.

If you want to become a leader and advocate for farmer health, wellbeing and safety and are a professional living and working in agricultural communities, then enrol now! Enrolments are open through Deakin University.

We welcome you to enrol if you have a professional background in; nursing, medicine, health, agricultural science, public policy, agribusiness, psychology, social work, veterinary and or environmental science, and a drive to improve farmer health.
