Coordination team news

Happy holidays from the NIFVS coordination team

It has been an exciting year for the family violence sector with the release of the Royal Commission into Family Violence report and recommendations. Under the guidance of the Regional Integration Committee, NIFVS has been coordinating regional scoping in relation to Support and Safety Hubs and Workforce Development.

We have coordinated a range of integration work this year including developing the online CALD resource ‘Overcoming Barriers’, delivering 46 training sessions for 900 workers, producing Help Card resources and continuing to promote the region's innovation response at a statewide level.

From all of us on the NIFVS coordination team, we applaud the incredible hard work of partners across the integrated family violence service system and beyond. We wish you all a safe and happy holiday season and look forward to seeing you all back refreshed in 2017.

Best wishes. Sarah, Ada & Robin.
