Coordination team news

Week Without Violence: 17-21 October 2016

Now in its seventeenth year in the North, the Week Without Violence incorporates The Clothesline Project, an art therapy based activity where victim/survivors and their supporters paint messages on T-shirts that are then displayed across the region.

The Week Without Violence Toolkit provides ideas for activities including The Clothesline Project.

Campaign facilitators are invited to a Workshop on 21 September 2016 to hear about:
  • The context of the campaign
  • How to use the campaign toolkit
  • Campaign messages
  • Past and current regional activities
  • Evaluating your event
To help facilitators run an activity during the Week, free resources are available including T-shirts, paints, brushes, posters, stickers and postcards. To order, please complete this form by close of business 2 September 2016.
