June Potluck Social

On Satuday, June 13th, DHHS will have our annual June Social from 4-7. Patrick Gatti, 608 Washington, has agreed to host for us, and Marla Potter is taking on the set up.

If you haven't signed up already, we need the following dishes (to serve 8-10 people):
  • Appetizers
  • Salads
  • Vegetables
  • Desserts
  • Sodas
  • Wine and Beer
DHHS will be supplying fried chicken and biscuits.

Academy Happenings

Washington Street residenceMichael Twery, resident on 13th Street and painter of the Clay St. mural, is the featured artist at the Academy of Fine Arts' Ann White Gallery (600 Main Street). He will be at the gallery for this coming First Friday (June 5 from 5 - 8) and his art will remain on display there throughout the month. Please come support one of our resident artists at this show.

Input for Downtown Grocery

The Lynchburg Food Co-Op is looking for opinions and suggestions as they work to bring a grocery to downtown. If you haven't yet filled out their survey, please take a few minutes to do so:

Business meetings are always held at 7:30 on the first Tuesday of odd numbered months. Our next meeting will be at the Youngs' home, 1216 Clay St., on July 7th.
