November 2016 (Volume 11, Issue 11)

Hi Paddocks Press fan,

This Friday saw the close of the first presentation of our Sectional Title Bridging short course. We had 228 students participate, of which 97% successfully completed the course. There were 1,626 discussion forum posts made over the 4-weeks. Should you wish to join us on the next presentation, please click here for more information.

In this month's edition, I wanted to share a Paddocks Club video, where I unpack transitional issues. In part 2 of Zerlinda's article series with regards to the STSM Act, she explains the maintenance, repair and replacement plan. Carryn covers the hot topic of quorum requirements, and Anton explains the access requirements for disabled persons in sectional title schemes, in his blog post.

Kind regards,
Graham

P.S. Note our offices will be closed over the festive season from 16 December 2016 till 3 January 2017!

These two rules have been combined to form the basis of the new PMR 19 contained in Annexure 1 to the Regulations made under the STSM Act.
